Extracotrs + exhaust tomorrow

Hey Boiyz

im puttin 4 to 1 extractors and 2.25inch full sports exhaust w/ nice twin chrome tips etc.

Shop guys claim 20% for extracotrs (power increase) and i realise that is dreaming, but will it make a noticeable difference?

Also, would i be better off going the safe route with a K&N air filter (to replace stock but keep air box) or to get a POD (CAI eventually i know). I had a bad experience with a POD once, where the actual filter became d/c from the base.

Luckily my battery went flat that morning (5yo battery!!!, w/ 3 amplifiers) and i was able to spot it. The tightness of my airbay meant it was still "attached" but i was real close to sucking anything and everything into my EFI.

So
a) how much power (currently stock 88kw / 115hp) will my extractor + exhaust bring (i know estimates)
b) wil a higher flow air filter retard the exhaust setup and should i go with POD, or will a higher flow AF be sufficient

thx for ur time

Hey, stock camrys make around 50kw@wheels, with a catback exhaust it will make 60kw@wheels, then with a full exhaust system with extractors and should make around 72kw@wheels.

Those are the readings that a camry owner got in sydney after mods.
My car has only a k&n element filter (cut lower air box) and sports muffler and it made 55.9kw@wheels in 40 degree celcius temps, the car ran like crap, it would be better for a reading in cooler weather.
