Well if u already have at least a cd player, I would recomend getting some nice 17's and tires and thats it. If u dont got a cd player, then I recomend u just get one and tints.

I have the same problem too. I'm in college and I don't have enough time for a job inbetween Homework and classes. I just recently got in a minor accident, so I'm paying for the damages on that. I've been thinkin about getting lowering springs to, but its hella expensive to buy those and new tires.
Think bout what's more important

I agree with you guys. What I would say is buy a little something for a small amount of money so that you'll have to satisfaction to have bought something and you'll be happy ! otherwise you'll regret it later, because let's be honest, everyone would think it's great and fun (including me) but at the end of the day, investing in a car is all just a big loss of money (except if it's for maintaing)
ok....i still am in my junior year...so i got a while....i have a head unit and pioneer speakers...i was talkin about addin subs, amp, cap, dynamat, 5 inch LCD sun visor screen, and the wiring.....which in the end will come out to be a little (500-1000$$) cheaper than the wheels......im lookin at top-of-the-line suspension....so about 1500$ for the materials themselves....lets not forget either doin it myself (renting shit) or paying someone else to do it $$$$$$.....so.....please....keep givin me ideas...im kinda leanin towards sound system right now

You won't get all of that for under 1000. I guarantee it unless you have CRAZY connections in CRAZY car audio places, because NOBODY in their right mind is going to sell you that sort've stuff and wire it all up for 1 g.
Shoot, I'm 17 and I'm a senior in high school. In terms of people you'll meet at this website, you won't find more similar people (to you) than me or Brenden (Sarg). If you work, and I mean, phsyically getting a job this summer, you should have NO PROBLEM getting the sort've stuff that I have in my car which, to be honest, ain't too shabby. My advice to you is to get a job (ya think?!) and start savin' up if you wanna buy crap. If paying for college is a major issue for you, then I suggest you still get a job and save your money for college, because you'll need every cent. Fundamentally-speaking, it's absolutely worthless droppin' the kind've money we're talking about into your gen 3 cam.
anyways, it doesnt matter what car you drive for input on wether to center on audio or begin on show/performance...
I wish i could go back and start over... I'd start with a nice mp3 head unit, infinity kappa speakers, 1 sub, and then get springs and wheels, then tints, then save for turbo...
thats my opinion... since you already got part of a system, get one sub for filling in the low end, then concentrate on saving money for springs and wheels/tires...
I say since you already have a few audio parts jstu go for the suspension. Although you won't be making your car faster you will be able to drive faster due to your better suspension. And on top of that the whole car will look better.
