Is the MR2 91-95 engine the same as the 00 camry. I have seen that they both are called the 5-sfe, but i don't wanna order a part and than have it not fit. i have an auto 2.2 4cylinder. any help would be great.
Not necessarily ! The engine on both of these cars and for all these years is called 5sfe. However 1992 and 1993 are with a distributor but from 1994 they are distributorless so all the ignition system is completely different. So I would say it all depends on the kind of part you need...
so getting the headers won't be a problem, but if i got anything electrical or to do with the ignition it would take some serious work to get it to fit right.
Yeah, no.... it will bolt up to the block but depending on the header the tail end might go the wrong direction. The MR2 is a mid engine car so the pipe path is going to be different. Pacesetter and Bosal both make a 5S-FE header for the Camry and I think HotShot is comming out with one as well as Rippmods for the NA app.

the headers for the mr2 and camry send the b-pipe in opposite directions. we tried the bosal on an mr2, and it wasnt anywhere near where it should be. it wasnt worth modifying it to fit.
also, like i said in your other one... NAME THE THREAD BETTER!!!!!
looking for headers is NOT a huge problem fool!!!!
people with huge problems are for example someone whos car just stopped running and they need to know how to fix it RIGHT NOW! important stuff... see the difference man...
