Engine problems

I have been posting questions alot to do with headers, yet what one person tells me is different from that of another person, so can someone give me a strait answer. I have a 2000 camry 2.2 liter 4 cylinder. I am looking for headers that will fit my car. I know the engine is a 5fse. if anyone could give me definite information as to what company makes headers for my car.

yeah, i have tried searching in the threads, and there is some information, but when i posted questions asking about the old thread information, people would tell me the opposite of what the old thread said. here is the problem. I have not found headers that were specifically designed for the gen4 camry, 4cylinder. Now, old threads have said that the 91-96 non-turbo MR2 engine is the exact same engine, and that the headers should fit. Meanwhile, other people say how the MR2 is a midengine car and the downpipes go a different way off the headers, making it not work on the camry. I would like to know whos right, and if it would be worth it to get it custom made and spend a lot of money for them.

I dunno what to tell you man. You could just search on google or something for headers for your car. If nothing fits, you could just buy a header building kit and have a pro weld it for you. I would go wit that if you really want headers that bad. It might be expensive, but it would add good HP and it would sound sick.

Why don't you just call these shops and ask ? I guess they would certainly be able to tell you...

true... no deal with mr2 headers...

the brospeed ones may work, not sure...

i think brachan wants to know if any gen 4 camry 4cyl have aftermarket headers... in that case, you should have titled this a little better... threads with more SPECIFIC titles get better results... I was expectiong to see and ENGINE PROBLEM... not a header question.
