Here are a couple of DIY threads. But your '99 Camry might be tough to do the rear bank without removing the intake plenum.

Thread 1.

Thread 2.

Oh, one more; this one shows how to remove the plenum, if you have to go that route.

i just changed mine on 99 V6 solara i think there pretty much if not exactly the same. if you have an assortment of ratchet extensions and (preferably the 1/4in mini ratchet) will be the best way. the one closest to the passenger side can be reached if you squeeze your little ratchet in from that side. its pretty much right where the pcv valve is so you should be able to manage that one.trick i used is to use multiple short extensions and once youve unscrewed the sparkplug and are trying to pull it out, detach an extension and remove it and the ratchet out of the way while still holding on to the rest of the sparkplug socket and extension.(dont drop) you do this because the length of extension you need will cause you to hit the firewall when your trying to pull the plug out. or just use one of those swivle attachments but i dont trust putting uneven torque on sparkplugs...u break it and your f!@#ed! the other 2 you are going to want to do from the drivers side. reach in deep and wiggle your way through but BE CAREFULL! my rubber plugs were seized on and i tried and tried twisting and pulling but ended up tearing the plug and then i was f!@#ed! you can get the other 2 with patience and small hands ive done it before without problems. this time i had to pull the whole intake and egr to pull out the torn plug tho. so be patient good luck and hope this helps

point being dont remove your intake. ive done the job in 45mins first time without problems. take your time, use the best ratchet assortment you can for each spark plug and hopefully you dont have puggy hands. if you remove your intake make sure you remember to connect all the vacuum hoses and electrical after your done, and you still may have a intake leak at the plenum after because the 2 middle of the 4 bolts cant be tightened with a socket(at least any of mine) you can only tighten those 2 by wrench 1/6 of a turn at a time and you cant tighten it good without risking stripping it! so just take your time and dont take too much stuff apart.

and i forgot to mention you will need to remove the air filter hosing to get your arm in there
