New Style Oil Filter

My 2010 Camry has the new style oil filter with the filter element being the only part to replace. I would appreciate it if someone would tell me where I might get the instructions on how to accomplish this task. I would also like to know if it requires any special tools. Thanks for your responses.

The only place I know for Camry manuals is:

www.camrystuff.com

Try it,

Sam

You have the new Cartridge style filter. Its pretty simple, If you get the toyota filter it will show you on the box how to change it. You do need a toyota filter cup.

I did have a quick look on a box containing the filter in the parts department. There is a plastic plug that is inserted in the hole after removing an outer plug to allow the oil to drain. It looked like a hose can, or should be attached to the plastic plug to direct the oil flow. Is this necessary? Does removing this plastic drain plug shut off the drain oil so that a normal filter socket can be used without any remaining oil draining into the filter socket?
