Problem with my power door locks

I had an old alarm in my car that the previous owner had installed. It had serious issues, so I simply pulled the fuse & removed the box from under the dash. After I did this, the driver's side door stopped automatically locking. When I push the button to lock the doors, all the doors except for the driver's side lock & I have to manually lock it. Any ideas how to fix this?

I still have the old factory alarm that came with the car that the previous owner ever used. It still worked, until recently when I put a new battery in my car, it started going off for no reason and acting really funky. I shut the alarm off by fliping the "hidden switch" but now my door locks are acting really weird, instead of locking when I start driving they lock and then unlock.
I know this doesn't help you but I'm kinda having the same problem.

the wires must have been routed through the system directly... check for cut wires under the drivers side kick panel. remove the plastic side trim, and the corner plastic trim, and look around... the wires for the pwer door lock on that front left side are blue and red and blue and black... just check it out and report back...

Try letting go of the key as soon as the car starts up. My car does that when I have the key turned for 2 long.
