hey, that HKS muffler has a 4.5 inch outlet tip...so its pretty big
plus its like 285 bux, kinda pricey
in my opinion i think you should get the apexi n1 NA universal muffler with 90mm tip (3.5inch) its for 185 bux from the same ebay seller power garage, thats the muffler i wanna get...... it will better suit ur car i think
cuz that HKS muffler, man thats way to big, and plus it looks like it will mostly likely be scrapped alot at the bottom when going over bumps, etc ...and even more if you lower'ed ur car!!!
but if u really like it and money isnt an issue to you, then go for it

my cousin had a weapon R intake in his camry, it was very loud, he said so he took it off... but if you like to have LOUD noise then just be careful from the cops

I wouldn't spend money on an HKS muffler until I had a full plan set in motion for tuning my car. Just cuz it says HKS doesn't mean its the best for your ride, and if all you're gonna do to it is an intake and muffler, you'd be better off buying a catback system for the same price from your local muffler shop.

Yea man, just go with the APEX-N1 Universal muffler. I have one on my camry right now, it has a pretty good deep tone to it. In my opinion the APEX-N1 looks really great on 3rd gen camrys.

a huge muffler like that is not meant for a camry. its meant for a turbo eclipse, turbo supra, turbo mr2... turbo cars...

plus you wont get any real performance increase with just a muffler. you gotta do a full system. and that is custom since nobody makes them for a camry.

i don't really care if it doesn't give me any gain in power, the 4cyl camry wasn't made for speed anyways, i just want it for looks.

Hey a94autoCamry, I have pics but I need a place to upload them.
It looks pretty decent on a Camry. The way I did my exhaust system was brospeed headers, straight to a high flow cat piping all the way to the muffler. Hope this helps.

Calvin

sup calvin, yea that helps alot
maybe you can start a webpage at www.cardomain.com
and then i can see your pictures, or maybe you can learn how to post the pictures like some other guys have done in these forums,.... anyways it might be a bitch to learn or do, so dont rush it or anything, and if you dont feel like doing that, then its cool man...just take ur time
i think that site is free, but i havent tried it myself yet...
my cousin has a site and its basically a photo album page..
heres some pics of my car.... i kinda regret getting a magnaflow muffler on my car with that tip, just kinda looks werid...cuz its sorta slanting down when looking from the side view and plus right now its with the the stock piping, argh~! and now i want to change to apexi with custom piping.... argh yea i know i know i wasted some money, but oh wellz

i wouldn't pay that much.. for a brand name / carbon fiber part .. unless i plan to trick out my car for shows.. and then you'll have to consider rims..full body kit.. and other stuff.. but with all of that.. that is alot of money...

and for injen vs weapon R ... i have an injen.. i think its great.. and when i asked one of my friends which is good.. he told me that weapon R was illegal or something.. but yeah i might be wrong.. or it might only be in cali.. but yeah.. injen is great..
