Check Wrecking Yards 4 Camry Parts
Good idea!
Looking around some Camry's , for parts sounds good! save on Dealer $$
Heres some parts that come to mind...
Just recently (Just Before Christmas) I bought the little plastic clip for my '97
( from my Toyota Dealer)This clip holds the"rod" that holds the hood
up . But it holds the rod when the hood is closed remember this clip?
I paid $2.03 !! Last week I went back to get one for my wife's friends
1999 Camry (Hers was broken too!) I paid $2.98!! For #%@!! plastic Clip!
I just dont know if you can find one thats not broken or can get it out with-
out breaking it?
Another (TSB) is on 1997-2001 Camrys is on the "Sun Visor Vanity Mirrors"
Again both my Camry Vanity Mirrors /plastic "hinges"are broken on one side
Apparentely changes were made to improve the cover/ hinges.
I live in the country( no wrecking yards close by) I need to start a list and
run down the hill myself and get some parts!!
Another was the"Air Vents in the Dash" if they wont stay up and fall down
there was a washer spacer kit for this. Maybe you can find a car that has
them on the vents. Try prying the vent off and get the spacers..
Can anyone think of any other parts/ problem areas?
