Different Gen owned

How many of your out there have owned more than one Generation?

1. I had a 88 Gen 1 when I was stationed in Okinawa
2. I still have our 90 Gen 2 that my father bought new and handed it down to my younger daughter for a starter car. She upgraded and we still have the 90.
3. My older daughter drove a 95 Gen 3 that was handed down after my mom passed away. but she totaled it last June.

Let's see what every one had.

My dad bought a gen1 (1984 LE) new when we lived in California
He bought a gen3 (1996 DX 5-speed) new after we moved to Colorado

I bought a gen2 (1988 LE) in 1996
I replaced it with a gen4 (2000 LE) in 2002 that I still have today.

I've driven a gen5 a few times as my brother in-law has one.

Having grown up with and driven Camrys for a good part of my life, I was ready for a change. I bought a RAV4. I really like the RAV4, but I am appreciating the Camry again for some of the things I've taken granted for a long time.

The parents had a 1986 Gen 1 , I didn't get my first Camry until 97, a 96 LE 5sfe, then I found the 96 Coupe in 06. Sold the other Gen 3.5 to the daughter, and its still going!

First toyota was an 88 corolla, next was a 92 extracab 2wd V6 pickup, then the baby boy came, and we move on to a 94 corolla.

My mom has a '95 V6 LE which I still like driving, and I've got an '05 LE. Both are great cars. I'm drooling over the new gen 6.5 Camrys though.. Fortunately both my Camry and my mom's purr like kittens and they're paid for, so I don't think I'll be in need of a new car for a long time to come

That's what my neighbor said - when her '92 V6 LE blew a head gasket she wanted something different/fun and got a RAV4. This was back in 2005. She asked me why I bought a Camry over something more fun and all I could say was, "I like it"
