slow pickup, timing belts, brake fluid

Hi,

I have a 2002 camry V6/4DR, 70K miles and I have few questions.

1. Recently, I felt a slow pick up when I start the car in the morning. I have to push the gas till the tachometer goes to 3 and speed is still around 30 mph. After 30 secs I feel a speed jump and tachometer comes down to to 2 and then I get a smooth ride. I have serviced my cars regularly after 5000 miles

a. What is the problem? I read on forums that it might be due to spark plug? how to replace it and how much it cost for Camry.

2. At 65,000 miles service dealer adviced for

a.Timing belts and drive belts. estimate $380
Is it timing belt due at 65K miles? should I get it changed?

b.Brake fluid flush. estimate $120
Is it due for change? how often it should be changed?

c.EFI/Throttle body service. estimate $190
Is it due for change? how often it should be changed?

Thanks,
Sat

Could be just a bad gas. Try fuel cleaner for starters.

Go to www.camrystuff.com and download your car's service manual. It will answer most of your questions.

Good luck,

Sam
