I am going to drive my 2004 Camry from Los Angeles to Toronto in the end of this week. The total is about 2600 Miles. However I have only 4 days for driving, which means almost 700 miles per day.
I am not very confident about my car condition. I used driving this car from Little Rock to Los Angeles last summer. And when I was driving in New Mexico. The check engine light on, and The computer check shows O2 sensor has some problem. Howeve, when the manchanic take the computer off car, the check engine light was off and never light again.
In this April, I am driving from Los Angeles to Los Vegas, the check engine light again, and computer check shows the O2 sensor problem again. And the check engine light off after plug off the computer, and the light never lighting again.
I am very worry about the engine and the sensor. what can I do? I have to drive 4 days to Toronto.
Whether I have to change Sensor right now?
The manchanic told me if the check engine light on wich means engine is working not normaly. If the lighe is not on, which means engine is working normaly. Is it true?
