Camry heated seats

Couple questions:

First, did any trim of the Gen4/4.5 Camry come with heated seats? I found one passing mention by ratko indicating that camrys may never have had heated seats, but I'd like to know definitively.

Second, if there WAS a trim level that had a heated option, how relatively difficult would it be to install the heated seats (from a junkyard donor car) into my 2000 CE? I believe I've got several unconnected wiring harnesses up around the passenger compartment, but I've not yet investigated to see if they're for such an optionor something else. But if I have to do the wiring myself, is it going to be pretty involved or is it basically hook up power, switch, and rheostat?

Not looking for an aftermarket add-on... kinda leary about that.. would rather have something OEM for this sort of thing. Would perhaps Solara seats fit, maybe?

if you've got a gen 4 haynes manual or service manual you could check the wiring diagrams at the back

That's true... huh, never thought of that

Edit, post looking-at-the-book: Hrm... Well the ES300 apparently came with heated seats, according to haynes. I wonder...

Ratko said there's a heated seats fuse in our cars.

I bought a heated seat cover for $40 from Walmart and spliced it into my accessories wire...it also massages in three different areas and speed settings as well.

Sweet! Man, may need to rethink the "no aftermarket heater" thing, especially if it gives me a massage...

Ekam: yeah, I just checked. there's a 20A fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box. And a fuse in it.

That thing of wires running up into the driver's seat is for SRS weight sensing, right? It's just one loomed pack of wires with a small, white plug at the end.
