i was wondering if D2S instead of D2R bulbs will work fine on Camry's reflector housing?
another question, is it ok to use just one relay instead of two for the harness
my HID seller only gave me one relay and connected the drivers side harness and passenger side harness to the same relay.
so the original light connecter on the passenger side is not connected to anything. is that ok?
will there be any defects?
i do know the voltage will be the same on both harness but the current will be divided in half.
it would be greatfull if you guys can help me out
i appreciated

1) I personally would use D2R on a reflector because it has strips pre-painted on to reduce glare. I would also build a shield to go underneath the bulb........you can make this out of sheet metal (3/4 in x 2 in) and paint the top side with high temperature paint. By doing both, you will get more white/blue light reflecting within your headlamp (greenish light comes from the bottom of the capsule).
2) A single relay is fine.....I use only one relay on all my projects. The reason it's on the driver's side is because it's closer to the battery for quicker power-up.
I'd defintly go with the d2r, and even build more of a shield for them, or else you will get alot of glare, and on coming drivers wont like that, as well not as clean light, lots of "hot spots" ...but if your going to do a projector retrofit, go with the d2s...best thing i ever did for my camry..especially since i drive out side of the city alot, hids are great
and yes check out hidforum.com great website, lots of usefull info on there..and great deals
I have a D2S setup with my reflectors, and they are alot brighter than anything out there. With perfect and defined cut offs. Meaning no glares. But I did spend lots of time making the sheild and fine tuning it for max output with no glare. NO GLARE, I don't care what anyone says... NO GLARE! Alot brighter, than D2R that's for sure.
