Need help with a direct connection box!

I bought an direct wire Quick Connect power outlet from pepboys, the manufacture is Bell automative. It tells me to connect it to the fuse box but, I tried that and it doesn't work. Where can I find a spare 12+ outlet to plug this in. I tried to connect it to the one side of fog lights fuse, and I know for sure I don't have fog lights and it still didn't work. What should I do, should I go back and get a new one? I need to know how to get this to work.

By the way I have a 1992 Camry LE.

only way to do it right is to wire it directly off the battery and then put a fuse on the positive line... thats it. PERIOD.

Where can I find a hole that I can fit the wires in. I looked around inside by the driver side and I didn't find any holes that would lead out to the engine compartment. I don't want to drill holes that would cause damage to the engine or the car. Where would the best place to route the wires from the power outlet to the battery?

Another question, why when I open the fuse box do I have a fuse for the fog lamps, in which I don't have? Is it already pre-wired and I'll need to do is buy the fog lamps and I'm set, right?

just drill through the wall dude, it won't cause any dmg to the engine or car

drill through the firewall to the right of the gas pedal... seal up around the wires with a big bunch of silicone sealant... i chose black

Take off the front driver side wheel and fender liner. You'll see a grommet against the firewall with a bundle of wires running through it. Run your wires thorough that grommet.

The wires come out underneath the dash.
