Okay, I know it's not complete but here are some pics of the gauge pod in my car. The meter is an A/F one, and I'm planning on sticking in a vacuum gauge as well...tell me what you guys think!
Gauge pod is actually for a 1978-1993 Mustang, I bought it from Performance Improvements for $62.99. It actually comes black in colour but I painted it, trying to match my interior. Obviously, it didn't work out too well...I'm thinking of painting it silver, like my car. It fits just okay, I'm going to put in another screw or something to hold it down.
Oh, I FINALLY got my car lowered!!! Handles great, no creaking and all these noises disappeared from my car...no more squeaking or anything...feels great!
I envy you guys with gauges... I wanna get gauges too! Only with 3S-GTE swap though... heheh

Thanks, I'm loving the suspension...plus I just stuck on my rims so handling is a bit better as well. I still need an alignment.....
Springs are H&R Sport lowering, not the euro spec. Drop is about 1.5 inches which is the lowest I'd go, comfort is important to me.
I went to Performance Improvement and asked them what pods he had in stock...he had a mustang, Impreza and Civic. I told him I wanted to try them out on my car, so I went outside and took off my trim...brought it in the store and tried them all on. The Mustang fit best so I bought that.

Nice drop Henry, much more even than it was on my car, but then again, I had numbnuts mechanics installing them. Your rear is more dumped than mine was for sure... All together, WICKED look!

Hey henry did tha gauge pods fit perfectly?
Yes and no...it doesn't fit perfectly at the moment, it still needs to be stretched out a bit. There's about a 3mm gap at the very top, you can't see it that well in the pic. However, if I press against it, it will fit perfectly. I'm planning to either heat it up or stick in a screw to tighten it down...I just don't want it looking too ghetto.

latez.
Thanks man! I owe it to you...if you didn't sell me your springs, I probably would have NEVERED lowered my car! My rear has always sat really low, it probably only dropped less than an inch...I have all this crap in my trunk....
Oh, BTW, Basil is the man, he did an awesome job! Very polite and meticulous man, I'm definitely going back to him with my other cars as well.

its realy not hard to drop a camry. i did the suspension on my gen 3 i4.
I was planning on doing by myself and my brother, but I'm too lazy and it's just too messy. Anyway, Ratko had these springs before and there was a lot of creaking and stuff, but that's not happening on my car. Basil mentioned to me there's two types of suspension installs people do...one like Speedtech where they just slap on the suspension (talk to Phi :smile or the way the dealership does it...basically that's how Basil does it. He lubes everything around it as well and makes sure it's all line up, test drives the car and makes no excuses....
Finally off the fence about dropping the Cam! You'll love it! Also, glad to hear that you're happy with Basil, since I was the one who started sending you guys there.
Nice going on the gauges.
