97 Camry ABS problems ,,,, need help !!

New member here looking for any suggestions that I can find

After a routine brake job 2 months ago the ABS light came on, went to the dealer to see the code and it was 35. So I replaced the right speed sensor. The light went out and I though I was all good boy way I wrong.

After a short test drive the first time I stopped the ABS system kicked in on dry pavement on a 80 degree day. Every time I stopped completely the same thing the ABS went off just like I was stopping on ice.

To make matters worse after driving for about 19 miles the light came back on, /after checking the code it was for both 31 nd 35. So we checked the connections and when we went for a drive the abs light went out again.

My problem is the abs light comes on and off by it self. When the light comes on the abs system does not activate in stopping and stops normally, then by magic the abs light goes off the I have the ABS system go off at stoppage.

Any thoughts ??

I have thought about finding the fuse to the abs system and pulling the plug, and ideas how to do this as I cant find the master fuse.

check the abs sensor ring for cracks or problems, check that the sensor connectors are all good and not corroded or have spread terminals.

Unless I missed it, which right side sensor did you replace? Front or Rear?
