this is a camry forum , so of course we are obsessed with our cars , duh ~!!
anyways 1 thing that bothers me is that new commerical comparing the mituibishi galant vs toyota camry... makes me kinda angry/sad ...lol...
the camry was being shown to compare with the galant because maybe mitsubishi is obsessed with the camry's and they dont want to admit it!!! ROFL
boo-yahhh
Not really concerned about racking up the milage on the car, but I do cringe whenever I hear bits of rocks hitting somewhere on the car. I don't know what it is about this car, but I've been hit by more stuff in 6 months than I remember being hit in 2 years. The road loves to haze new cars...
That Galant commercial is flawed. The galant has no option for VSC. So they assume that Camry also doesn't have VSC, and claim that Galant handles better in emergency situation. BUT SE V6 and XLE V6 has a VSC option.
even though my camry has 190600 miles on her....i am so obsessed that all the options u listed almost prevent me from drivin my car....except for the rain in the winter time (free car wash)........and that commercial is not real....cus....obviously...the driver of the camry was bribed to jerk the wheel real hard

lol the driver was bribed.... tee hee
anyways whats a VSC?
powerblue- sorry to hear you have no car, what happened to it??? u getting it back soon?
cheer-up (if u can)
I'm so obsessed with keeping my Camry CLEAN!!! I spent at least 20 hours cleaning it after it was given to me. I detailed that mofo under the hood, inside and out. I tool apart the whole friggin interior and hand washed each piece, and replaced any scratched buttons or parts to restore it to new condition. Does that qualify as obsessed?
lol dam, gen3cruiser....
1 word to you - "whoa"
lol dont know what eles to say
maybe i should start cleaning my engine, cuz its so dam dirty right now, but my dads all like , nah dont bother, just gonna get dirty again... but again , being clean adds a nice feeling when you think about it...just like moms cleaning the house
i should pop the hood everyday and peek at it for 10-15 minutes, so maybe i can learn something about my car....cuz i'm still a noob

4. Driving on the freeway and see a gravel hauler in front of you, hearing chipping sounds on your car.
Those are the things that makes me feel bad... It's not that bad to drive it in the snow and rain because I was still enjoying the Camry through those nasty weathers. I always wash the Camry in matter of days whenever it is dirty or after a "salty" drive
Driving on the freeway/highway and getting stone ships or gravel under the car is the worse... I always try to avoid driving my Camry on highways with a lot of trucks and construction.

I like my car and all, but that's what it is: a car. Granted if it cost 100 grand I'd put a bit more thought into it but it's not(and I won't ever own a car worth that much anyway).
I guess my parent's philisophy that a car is just a way to get from a to b has rubbed off a bit.
Whenever I am in a large parking lot I park really far away from all other cars because some people are asses and kick their door open harder than Van Dam and put 2 dents in your front fender about a month after you buy the damn thing!

wash and polish my car every 1-2 weeks, ever since i shipped my car up to oregon, i've gotten more scratches, dents, and chips in 1 year, than I have gotten in hawaii in 11 years. Piss me off. And I park far away from everybody else too. haha
