My new rims!

just ordered my new rims. What do you guys think? Getting them on Wednesday. 16in by 7in. Didn't want to go bigger, wanted smooth ride quality. Did I chose wisely?

16x7 sounds good. It won't look as nice as a 17, but you'll launch better than a 17, and the ride will be smoother than a 17.

$800 with tires and instal. Not too bad, took $150 off. Rims ended up being $100 each, tires $70, then $70 for instal, balance, warrenty, and tax.

dam good job on getting new rims + tires for under 1000 bux
before i get rims i gotta get me some lowering springs + shocks 1st, then maybe rims.... for now its steelies!!!
i was thinking of getting those TRD rims that they have for the solara, i think those are pretty nice but its probably gonna go over 1000 bux with the tires..

Nice, just ordered my KYB GR2 Struts to match. Finally taking the first steps in transforming my Gen3. Ohhh yeah! "I just love this emotion!" lol

So, $1130 for rims, tires, rear struts, strut mounts, and spring bumpers. Now I just need them installed.

I picked up a set of 17's with 215/45 tires from www.wheelmax.com for $600.00. The tires are Kumho and the rims are the Exel Enio in a gun metal. No complaints. If I could have afforded the extra cost I would have gone with 18's.

Well I don't have money for 18's and the ride is too harsh. Plus it slows you down. I'l like my 16's.

^ I'm with you. 16" gives you a comfy ride still...and much cheaper than 17".
