The plastic knob gets a lot of use, since I am about a foot taller than my wife. Now, the knob acts like it's stripped. When I replaced it recently, the new knob didn't really solve the problem. The spline inside the knob looks OK, as does the shaft from the seat. It could be slipping at the knob, but I wonder if there is some place else I should look to try to fix this. I welcome any suggestions to diagnose and repair this minor annoyance. Thanks. David MichiganDriver '97 Camry, 120K
