i'd have a tranmission shop look at it if you deem its bad enough, it could be on its way out

a tranmission rebuild (good as new) would cost in the neibourhood of 500$

Or you could buy my auto tranny off of me, it was just rebuild at Phils Trannsmissions in AZ. It is in very good condition... lemme know if you are intrested, your tranny has the same signs mine USED to have, after the $1100 rebuild she shifts oh so smooth, and engages every gear preciesly!
