hey everyone
first i would like to say that this post is not asking about what type of bulb is the best and brightest, nor this post asking what size of bulb to get. so please no flaming me about not using the "search"... thank you
anyways, back to my question.
I have a Gen 3, 94 Camry, up till 3 weeks ago i was using MTEC 4x bulb (low beam) along with upgrade harness (from suvlights.com), because one burnt out so i decided to give the Silverstar a try and replace both bulbs with Silverstar .
The MTEC bulb were super bright and white (pretty high wattage) so i had to change my corner lamp bulb to nokya super white to match the MTEC. Actually to be honest, the MTEC looks waaaay whiter then my nokya corner bulb.
Now, since my MTEC got replaced by Silverstar (not as white), the corner bulb looks much whiter then my silverstar, so it doens't quite match in color.
So I need some opinions here. Which would look better?
Should I keep my nokya in my corner lamp? or change them with some really orange ones? NOT the stock dim yellowish-amber ones, but like really orange ones i see one BMW's signal light.
All opinions are welcome and appreciated.
Thank you
haha...
i thought about that, but i got the MTEC as a gift, and i dunno where she got them from. I checked out ebay, the price isnt' too bad, but i heard lots of good things about Silverstar, so just want to give them a try. And if these burn out, i might consider a 9006-9005 conversion.

I've noticed a change in the Silverstars. The original set I bought were about $25 each, provided much brighter light and had a much more purplish tint. Both have burned out and I replaced them with new Silverstars that are now only selling for $20 each. They provide less brightness and IMO seem bluer (not as purple). Anyone else notice this?

this is what is badass- i bought mtecs of ebay from mtecpower... he has given me a deal- and i think everyone, that if they ever burn out just send him them back and like $5 shipping, he will send a brand new pair, no questoins
it has worked for me- i cycle through 2 sets i have bought and i have gotten lots of free ones when they burn out- w/ out actual HID - i really like mtecs

i had bought my mtec back in late july, and it lasted till 3 weeks ago. so i was able to get 6-7 months... not as long as i expected, i read about them in some chinese tuner magazine, they gave them good comment on them, and i found them at Vancouver, so i gave them a try. The brightest and colour are pretty good.
