seat belt warranty

the seatbelt female end on my camry inexplicably broke and the dealers I'm calling are quoting all sorts of prices. Up to 180 dollars for the part because 'they don't sell them seperately' to almost 200 dollars for labor which is basically removing the seat and using a wrench to rebolt a new anchor. Am I getting rip off prices? How long does does toyota cover 99 camry seatbelts?

Not sure on how long the seat belts are covered for, but what I would do to find out for certain would be to call Toyota Corporate at 1-800-331-4331 and ask someone in customer service. If they tell you it's only 3years/36,000 miles, I would try to do this yourself by calling a few salvage yards in your area for the part. If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, try an independent repair shop that will try a few salvage yards to find the part and install it for you.
