hmm, didn't know the gen 4 came with a disc changer. it could be under the armrest, under a seat, in the trunk, in the glove compartment. try shuffling the discs and listen for it

they don't come stock in any models. The reciever just has an output so you could easily buy one and put it in. I think it has a preamp output too.

nice- well i just bought a 99 camry CE (american edition) 4 cylinder.. 4 door.. (cheap on insurance and gas).. i have a system but i was planning on putting a AM cd player in it with my best buy employee discount.. but if it has preamps then maybe i wont worry about it just yet because i need to get a few other things first..

has anyone seen a big gas mileage improvement with a K&N filter?

I have an OEM toyota disc changer..its 3-in-dash disc changer. I know cus' when we got the car, we opted for the premium sound package (basically 6 speakers - toyota tells you 8!!) + cdchanger/tape/radio!
