hey guys, i need a full shifter assembly. is the toyota quickshifter kit a full assembly or not? cause i see like a thumbnail type pic of a full assembly but i dont know if it is the full assembly.

i also need shifter cables, new. anyone know of aftermarket cables or just the OEM ones...?

No the TRD quickshifter doesn't come with the acutal assembly. Just the shifter and the knob.

There are no aftermarket cables... you can look for some at junkyards but I wouldnt use junked cables because a lot of the shift feel is a result of how smooth your shifter cables move. So I would get new ones from the dealer.

shift cables are expensive! probably around $100 for each cable. the install price is gross too, but i assume you will be DIY!

you know me bro!

i know WHY the install price is gross. cause you have to contort your hand in obscene ways to get these 2 friggin nuts off behind the center console...

if you think that is bad, getting them back on is worse.

100 a cable isnt too bad. i mean, its a must have piece.
