Hye guys, thinking about getting the RMM lip for my Gen 3, what do you guys think of it? I know you got it Tony, how you like it? I can't really tell frim the pics. One second I like it, the next, eh.
Alos is it a pain to install, or is the fit exact? Thanks.
I love my Rod Millen lip on my 93 Camry. I guess you have to see it in person. But I think it looks dope overall. Take a look at my pictures to help you decide.
i have the 95-96 RMM lip, i think it looks hot as hell...def a good choice. it's urethane and trust me, it'll take a lot of abuse too, unlike any of those fiberglass kits out there
I was just thinking, you guys have problems with speed bumps, or driveways? How many inches off the ground is it? Trying to get maximum clearence so I probly wouldn't drop my car.
I just realized, on the Gen3, (not 3.5), you have to cut part of the bumper off don't you? That kinda sucks, then I have to get both pieces painted. How does it attatch?
The Rod Millen adds came with instructions and the hardware(screws) to install the lip. The only difficult part is cutting the stock bumper in order for the lip the flush with the stock bumper. The openings below the turn signals are how it holds together and you screw it behind the fender for more support. I installed it myself using a dremel and some heavy duty garden choppers that cuts small tree branches. I used the dremel to smooth out the the rough edges after cutting it the the choppers. The hardest part was cutting the left and right sides of the bumper near the fender. You will see what I'm talking about when you see the instructions. Its takes time especially when your doing it yourself. If you decide to get it don't hesitate to ask me in more detail how I installed the lip. Hope this answer your questions.
