Question no brakes lights

I have a 1992 Toyota Camry. The brake lights have all gone out. None of them are working. The shift lockout is also making it so that I can not shift out of park unless I press the button and hold it well I shift out of park. We have checked all the fuses and relays that we can think of, and the wiring under the dash. Any one else had this problem? or have any idea of what to look at? I need to take my son to the doctors but can't go anywhere with no tail lights.

Check the brake light switch attached to the brake pedal. A defective one will cause both problems you are experiencing.

So was the problem solved? if the lights don't work, you can always revert to what driving school taught you and use hand signals

i doubt everyone knows about hand signal from driving school, USA maybe yes but Most of Canadian drivers are stupid, they paid 700$ or 1000$ dollars to buy the driver lisence. They dont need to go for their test.

1000$ dollars will pass everyone from 16 to 60 ! Check out "Canada # 1 worst drivers" in real life, samesh-it.
