4th Generation Camry Sedan 1992..Radio problems....need help !!

I just replaced my factory radio with a new JVC KD-G230. I used the snap on wiring harness and did all the connections correctly. The CD/MP3/Aux are working but the radio keeps searching for stations forever, but cant play the radio. I checked the radio antenna, it is connected at the rear of the stereo correctly but still no luck. I even re-connected the original factory radio again, and it works ok. I am still breaking my head. I don't know whats wrong.
Does anyone know if I have to get any antenna adapter or any other bit to make the radio work.
Please come to my rescue !! Thanks for any suggestion.
Every little helps.

Since the old radio works, everything in the car including the antenna works correctly. Problem has to be with the unit itself, the wiring harness or one of your connections. Does JVC have a customer service number you can call?

Found this on their website:

If you havent already fixed this problem, I know some aftermarket radios require you plug in the antenna connection b4 the power connection.
