Rear Hatch Wont Open On My Wagon...How Do I Approach?

Seems like the handle and lock mech. on the rear hatch of my wagon is all rusted solid. I cant open the hatch. The lock wont even work.

SO...I gotta take it all apart and buy some new pieces and lube some others..

How do I approach this problem?

How do I get inside the door since I cant open it?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Tnkx

Those locks should never rust to the extent that they won't work.
Is it that your key won't work? Try your key in the glove box if it doesn't work there you've got the vallet key.
It sounds like the last owner key locked it and lost the master key.
You can give a dealer your vin and they can make you a new master.

REALLY?

My key does not work in the glove box!

SO...I must be missing a key!

FAWK...that would save me SO MUCH time if I just bought another key, stuck it in and turned it!

COOL!

I will try that!

BEST piece of advice EVER!
