Interior is Soaked Need Help

Hey,

I need some help. For the past 2 weeks the drivers side floor carpeting has been soaked I've tried wet dry vacing it twice now and it seemed to dry up and then the next day I will find that it's just as soaked as before At first I thought maybe the door seals weren't put on right after my car was painted but then I checked them and they were fine. Another thing is that none of the seats or door panels are wet and the passenger side of the car isn't wet either I don't know how the driver's side carpeting is getting soaked. There must be a huge leak from somewhere but I can't find where

where do you park your car?

I'd say check along the firewall too....

I park my car out on the Street or drive way. I'll check the firewall but I don't think it can be coming from there. The carpeting behind the Drivers seat is absolutely just soaked to the bone and the carpeting in front of the drivers seat is soaked but not as soaked as the carpeting behind the drivers seat. but the carpeting on the passenger side in front and rear is dry. I really don't know where or what is causing this leak

what is it soaked with? water? kind of weird to have this happen in the winter. I say this because i had a friend, with a maxima, his passenger side carpet kept gettin soaked because of i think his air conditioning.... you know the fluid that comes out when you leave your air conditioner on?

^ isn't that just condensation....there shouldn't be enough to soak the carpet...

nonono, if you were in his car, and whenever he'd turn, you would hear this splashing, water-running sound coming from the fire wall, then you're feet will get drenched...

^^^^^ a friend of mine had the same problem in his civic but somehow his got clogged somewhere and it caused the leaking

Yeah it's one of the weirdest things I have ever experianced with a car. Has this happened to anyone? I really want to find out what it is cause it's really starting to piss me off Any help would be appreciated

If you routed anything through the firewall, as in a power wire, check that area and see if the water is coming through there. I noticed that the carpet on the front passenger side of my truck was getting soaked after it rained or after a wash. After investigating the problem, I found that the grommet that I routed my power wire through had torn and water was coming in through there.
