USA Cigarette Lighter loose/broken

2000 Camry LE:

Cigarette lighter housing is very loose. In fact, recently the inner metal cylinder has come out depending on what I have plugged-in, that I am unplugging. Eventually, the plug on the back of the lighter assembly came loose/disconnected to the point that I had to take the face plate/cover off the radio/air cond./ash tray area and reconnect the connectors to restore functionality. This is somewhat fine, but I've purchased a gizmo that doubles as a mount/holder type deal that won't stay still and falls the left or right depending on what bump I may hit. I have to keep pushing in the outer bezel-type deal immediately surrounging the inner metal cylinder of the cigarette lighter.

When I took all this apart, my first focus was to just try to see why it was loose and tighten it, then connect the connectors to the assembly. I couldn't figure out what to do to tighten the whole assembly.

Anybody aware of any pictures of all this jazz or otherwise have any thoughts about what I could do.

I've already visited with the local dealer. They don't have an assembly replacement for it.

Not sure what to do to resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Joey C.

Does this help any?
http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_200....html?hl=85500

I've pulled my lighter all apart and took apart the "Lighter stay" to replace it with a small 12volt bulb from Radio shack.

At the very least now you have the part numbers you can put in on one of the many toyota websites and order new if you need to.
