..and other problems:The doesnt seem to be able to pick up sometimes, feels like im taking off in 2nd, but im in first. doesnt happen all the time, just every once and awhile. why is this?

Ive got an AT, so when accelerating hard and the tranny downshifts the engine noise seems to "dip" VVVVUUUUMMMMM(shift)VVVVuuuuummmMM
...its worring me.
maybe im crazy, any ideas
( i was in a wreck awhile back and finally checked the enigne a couple of days later and found the clamps on my airbox loose and my O2 sensor knocked out. i fixed all this but havent had an inspection done...so this might be causeing alot of stuff)

that's what happend to my auto 5sfe an accident broke my tranny and made is shift erratically and doesnt down shift past 3rd gear...

great, that makes me feel better. it was more of a fender bender, so i cant imagine the tranny being stressed at all..

not sure then could be ur tranny's components or electornic errors in ur tranny's ecu.. either way its a good opportunity for a tranny swap!!
