How much km on your camry ?

Mine have 320000km and the key doesn't work in the passenger door because it has never been used to open the passenger door.. so the lock inside the passenger door is still like new.. but the one in the driver door + ignition have been used a lot.. the key and the locks got used at the same rythm..

My father had the same problem with his '92 cavalier and a friend of me with his '86 suburban

Go to the dealer with your VIN number and ask for a new (oem) key. I don't know in the US but in Europe this is CHEAP and always better than just a copy.
