handbrake adjustment 2204 Camry

Subject vehicle is US made 4 cyl. Just replaced the front pads with Akebone after carefully bleeding 4 brakes..
Brakes good except too much brake pedal free play and too many clicks on hand brake. Can I adjust the free play by adjusting the brake push rod? I will replace the rear brake shoes in two weeks.
How do I adjust the handbrake to four or five clicks? I presume the adjustment is made at the console area but I cannot see the adjustment nuts and bolt.

You need to take the console apart - not very hard job.

For details go to www.camrystuff.com. If your camry is 2004, select generation 5.

I don't think the "2204" Camry will have a handbrake. Just a thought controlled hover mode.
