Starting Problem

Sometimes when I start my 97 Camry LE, it will have a very low idle RPM and the engine will just stop. I have to hold on to the gas pedal until it can idle at starting RPM. Sometimes it will take 5 seconds, sometimes up to a minute. Also, it seems like it happens more or less during days that it rains...or when it's really cold, maybe these characteristics are just coincidences but what is the matter?

The problem is a clogged IAC / ISC / IAV and / or ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor.

does anybody else have this problem? my brother's 99 prelude just started doing this.... what could be the problem? i thought it would be the fuel pump or something but i have no idea... the car starts very smoothly after you turn the key, but soon after the car turns over, the engine shuts down. what could be wrong?
