Best way to remove Plenum...

Does anyone know the best way to remove the Plenum on the 3VZ-FE? Do you really have to drain the coolate and remove the throttle body? Haynes has like a 50 step process referring to 4 different chapters... Surely, there must be a way to cheat this.

only undo the bolts holding it , the fuel line, and a few other connectors, but then you can lift it and bring it fwd leaving you a bunch of room to work back there

You will only have to drain the coolant when you remove the lower intake manifold that is below the intake plenum.

If you are removing just the intake plenum, you can still leave the coolant in the system.
