Exclamation 99 licence plate bulbs wont light "help"

Hey just before anybody says this, i put in new bulbs and they still dont go

I replaced the bulbs cause at first i thought my old set had burnt out, btu these new ones didnt light either. Could this be a fuse or maybe something went wrong in the wiring

Anybody have some advice, and does anybody know off hand where that fuse is, either under the hood or under that panel by the steering column

try putting a volt meter to the leads where the bulbs plug in to see if current is getting to them. if there isnt any, its a fuse. if there IS current goin, then the bulbs are messed up.

open your trunk and look in the left corner of the trunk where the wiring harness runs up the hinges of the trunk.......all camrys are notorious for having that problem (see it all the time cuz i work at a toyota dealer)

wire is probably frayed somewhere and grounding out before the bulb

this shit is a pain in the ass, you just have to trace it back
