Trunk Light Help Please!

Hey guys,

I just got a neon tube for my trunk and I plan to tap into the existing trunk light for power and ground. Is this a bad idea? I am assuming that if I tap into that line, my neon will turn on when the trunk is open and off when it is closed. Am I correct?

Also, does anyone know where the switch is for the trunk light and how it looks?

Thanks.

should work, might be too much for the fuse to handle if you've got other things on that are on the came fuse

While on the topic of neon...I was wondering...Is there any differance in brands? Like is there anything that makes street glow superior to other brands? Or is it just a name.

Use a relay....

The trunk switch is right at the bottom, where it locks.
