Camry Airflow Meter Replacement...

searched for airflow meters and didn't find anything pertinent to my situation.

only have a question. had a '90 camry (4 cyl) tuned up. two days later, it won't accelerate without massive bogging down. unfortunately, it's intermittent. high rpm's are the only answer. now the cost is $1k to replace. is this right??? anyone know of a better solution or if there is a connection between the tune up and this issue? am i SOL?
