After two different mechanics telling me that I urgently needed my front drive axle to be replace, I got it done today.. My 94 Camry has 131,000 miles on it and I can't remember if this has ever been replaced before on my car. Anyways, I probably should have done this before-hand, but I was wondering what some of you guys paid to have this done.. I paid about 245 including labor and parts. That price seemed very reasonable to me and I was trying to see if I got a good deal or not.

i replaced both of the drive axles myself and it cost me 120 for the pair. so paying 245 for one with labor sounds about right being that labor rates are around $70/hr.

i had mine replaced like a year ago and its worn down again...i think i have a warranty on it though so it should be close to free...i dont know how much ours cost cus my dad still used the car and i wasnt into cars like i am now

Or anybody could help me out in providing a shop who could do the replacement, Im willing to travel within South Jersey and Philly area.

I wish I could do it but dont have a garage or place to fix it.
