Hey Folkz!

I´m from germany and a new ´member of this forum!

First I salute ya´all in here!

I would like to know if Anybody got some suggestions for me how to make my 93 4Cyl. Camry faster!
Where can I get the parts for the job?
Over here in europe it´s a pain in the ass to get any custom parts like height adjustable suspension or jet-air-intakes and all that for a Camry!

They got every damn thing for beamers, benzos, audis and whatever....
The weirdest parts....
But absolutely NUTTIN´ for my poor lil´ Camry!

I thank you in advance for every lil´ bit of help!

considering you are in germany, i think you have some pretty tough competition among other fast cars...

don't concentrate too much on speed. with the lack of abailablility of parts, it could send you to the poor house. i would say drop it, get a nice set of rims and a body kit..

cheers!

Ooops!
Did I forget to mention that I already have a 2" drop, custom self made billet grille, 17x8 OZ´s with 215/45 ZR 17 Dunlops, K&N Airfilter, shaved emblems, a 900+ Watts Stereo and Navigation System!

And, Sorry, now it´s time to make it just a lil´bit faster!
And, Hell Yeah, you can bet I have hard competition every day with those damn fast german cars!!!!

got me?

Yes, it´s a 5speed with the 5S-FE engine.

I would like to install a air-intake, maybe some ignition upgrade goodies, stuff like this, no turbo or something like that...

I'm not sure if some of the stuff I'm about to mention will add much HP or even add HP at all cuz I still don't know much about modding but here are some ideas any way.
So keep in mind I only really know about AE86's and not much about Camrys.
Platnum spark plugs, perfomance oil filters, performance radiator cap, bigger headers, port polish, turbo if it's avaliable or mabey an engine swap.

all those goodies you are talking about will make it MINIMALLY faster.. seriously esp with that 900w stereo weighing you down..

an air intake is a good start, ignition etc etc

just make sure your car is clean and well maintained, it will be plenty fast!

intake and exhaust are what I would suggest as your two most efficient, power per dollar, or whatever you use for currency, options. an intake is a simple matter of removing the stock air box and replacing it with piping and a hi flow conical filter. and an exhaust can be done at any muffler shop from components that you can get pretty much anywhere, just be careful to keep it street legal, cause I don't know what the laws are about that in germany

Ok!
First my name is NOT Hans!

Second, my stereo is not that heavy, cuz I put my subs freeair and the rest of the speakers in factory locations etc....

I took some pictures of my baby yesterday, gotta get em developed (ain´t got no dig. cam!)
As soon as I get em, you will see some pics, it´s already a nice ride....
I think it might be one of the nicest Camry´s in germany, cuz there are not a lot Camry´s over here anyway!!!

Camry300RR, already e-mailed you, thanks for your offer!

Well, I think a nice air intake, some ignition upgrades and a complete exhaust system will do the job!

Cool, can't wait to see em!

And I was just teasing you about the name... I thought it was funny at the time but I realize now that it was just down right insensitive. Sorry.

latez.

Don´t worry bout that Ratko!

I didn´t take it serious!

You got a nice ride too, did you know, that the Camry Coupe was never sold officially in Europe?
Over here they just had the 4door!

And another thing is different:
the european Camry has a lil´ different front bumper (because of the bigger license plates), and a almost completely different rear bumper! My number plate in the back sits between the lights, and the rear bumper is totally smooth, FACTORY!!

You´ll see on the pics....

You need NOS. 2 of the big ones. I'm j/k.

Its to bad that you don't want a turbo or anything like that cos that right there will increase your power.

You could get some cams from WebCams, have the head ported and polish, the intake manifold extrude honed + match ported to the head, intake, header, and exhaust.
