90 camry dlx 2.0 a140e "electric" shift trans. 246,000 miles.
problems = 1: engine warm reads low on dips stick wife drove 20 miles to town n back reread and it read almost 2 inches above "hot" , drained pan and refilled slowly making sure not to over fill ...read hot range at operating temp...read cold next morning it read 2inches above hot again???? (no clue how) ..drained again and filled to "hot range " transmission slips bad and will not go in gear till warms up...........so i put fluid in till it read almost 3inches over hot range (a gallon total) ...car will go in gear when cold now and shifts almost perfect when normal driving ....only thing now no kick down gear ...and flooring pedal in first gear it will shift straight to 3rd gear....and car sometimes dies coming to a stop which started when trans problems started. HELP ME PLEASE !!!!!! LOL
turned key forward and turned off o/d switch .........it stayed off meaning no codes stored in ecu.
never mind i need to jump a connector before looking for o/d flash codes sorry... will get back with this.
