wheels

hey guys
i kinda read through the threads and didnt see anything relevant to my question, sorry if its doubled.

im just about to get some 17" chrome wheels for mah g3 camry.
now id like to know what alterations id have to do ? do i have to get new springs (suspension) ?

i've been told that it might not look good if not lowered, but if i lower it it wont b a comfortable ride, which i doubt.

id love to see if any1 has pics of a g3 wif 17" wheels thats not lowered and lowered as well as im interested in doing that later on.

thnx guys.

Remember, when going with plus size wheels, the tirewall diminishes to give the speedo the same spec's for guaging speed/miles, etc.

No you do not have to change anything when going with plus size wheels. Yeah, they might look alrigh cus' you still have the fender gap...If its fender gap that you are trying to remove..then its not the wheels, its the suspension that needs to be changed. As far as ridecomfort goes....you loose the no feel road..even when plus-sizing on wheels! (so its not just the suspension). My suggestion would be for you to post more and buy later. See what you want to do..ride with someone in their lowered car and see if its something your comfortable w/. and WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!

thnx for the reply

id like to get the car to look abit better and sound a bit better too.

with the wheels, they do come with low profile tyres at a pretty good price for the package.
im not too consearned with the fender gap if the car will look good without having to lower it.
if not then id just have to go that 1 step further and get it lowered.
thats pretty much y i wanted to see pics of a car thats got nice rims and is not lowered, just to see what it would look like
