Bells and whistles; Smoke and mirrors: CAMRY

Hello this is John, or Raymond which ever you would like to use. I am starting this thread to hopefully channel users into posting any modifications, or upgrades under this category in an attempt to centralize the types of posts that are scattered throughout the website.

I am personally having a small problem that I am curious to see if anyone has a response to.

I own a 97 Camry and a 2002 Camry. the 2002 is sort of my project car. It is a black V6 SE that I have redesigned as far as the interior. I have also added a Pioneer Z1 navigation unit and XM radio. as well as a license plate camera.

The camera was fine until recently there was a bit of a snow storm, around this same time i had problems with my wipers. Which started to function uncontrollably. So the road salt would smear until vision was horrible. I pulled into a station. . . and cleaned the glass and pulled the fuse to the wipers once they were in the down position, (on the second day of the occurrence) Next i noticed my rear view camera had stoppped showing when I reverse. This pissed me off a bit. So i went through my menues on the head unit and to my surprise the head unit is not recognizing the rear view camera. Next I Go to the dealer for an oil change. Im told that my battery had a dead cell. so i go to Autozone and have it replaced under the warranty.

my questions are. . . are these things somehow connected? is this some sort of electrical problem surfacing? any thoughts on my rear view camera? or what the deal is with the wiper system?

after getting a new fuse in the problem with the wipers seems to have stopped. but the rear view camera is still not showing, and i have cheked the connections and wires. . . . Any thoughts??
