odometer problem

I have a 2000 camry. I was wondering if I replace the gauge panel, with a replacement panel from a different 2000 camry, will i get that other persons mileage from their odometer, or will the mileage from my car be retained.

When you get the new gauge cluster all you gotta do is take your old speedometer out of your old cluster and replace it with the one in your new cluster. The speedometer is held in by 3 or 4 screws. Then voila, your mileage will be exactly the same with the new cluster.
