all about the rim deal- here is my phil... i love these bad boys i got
i have gotten huge complements about them- and after saying that i bet a million people will be like "no those suck", but whatever... chrome is a dime a dozen and i think looks good on a lowrider, caddy, or maybe a complete show ride that needs 19's+... you just can't go small if you go chrome and i really can count on 1 hand the # of camry's that look good with chromes... maybe even one finger

i had chrome 18's on my cam wagon and they looked ok i had no trouble spinning them but too much effort to keep them clean
polished is good cause you can repair it yourself in some cases
painted is self explanitory you get tired you can change the color
And, Chrome is mostly reserved for lux and flashy cars. Chrome in my opinion doesn't go well at all with street cars. The other day, i saw this riced out Honda civic. It had a HUGE aluminum spoiler, and it looked like it was riding on 20 inch chromies. One of the ugliest things i've ever seen in person.
i agree with you guys, chrome only looks good on certain cars, and the camry isn't one of em, imo. I like chrome 22's and 24's on full size pick ups and suv's but they still gotta have the right tires and drop to look nice. speaking of dubs, has any one seen the new tundra with the 20" enkeis that come stock. my local dealer has a black quad cab with a chrome brush gaurd and those enkei dubs and it may the sweetest truck ive ever seen.
now that i have a faster engine i actually want lighter wheels though... but i still LOVE my chrome... its the only thing that makes my car look good... for now, till i get the kit on... its sitting in my basement right now. im too lazy to get it all lined up and ready for paint.
