i'm in need of a new center motor mount for a 5SFE, only place i've found that has them for a good price is toyotaparts.com. i was thinking of snagging the mount, plus a toyota oil filter ($4) and maybe some other odds and ends i need, but i don't know how good of a site it is. i've seen some people mention it as being alright...but those threads are more than a year old.

also, i was thinking of snagging a new muffler from Summit Racing. nothing big, nothing fancy, nothing overly loud...just an improvement over stock. friend got a Dynomax Thrush Turbo for his Corolla when his old (stock) one got a little rusty and i like how it sounds (also gave him a noticable improvement of power, according to him...but then again he had no back pressure right before he got it), but i don't know what it would be like on a comparatively larger 2.2L engine as opposed to his 1.6L. anybody else have experience with them? suggestions on what size inlet?

if you need the mount ASAP, toyotaparts.com or a toyota dealer. If you can wait, EBAY (one of the few items that are not scams on there).

unless its a brand name with a whole exhaust system (catback, or header, downpipe, hi-flow cat and cat back), I'd just get a muffler off ebay for $40 and be happy the camry got so loud that it sets off car alarms when rolling by in neutral (ie-mine )

well, the one my friend got 'Muffler Thrush Turbo Oval Case 2.5" ID Offset/Center 18.5" Overall Length' is only $18, so... the inlet was too large for him, and more than likely is for me as well (the 2.25" version is $20), but i didn't know if the length would matter. wish i had a ruler sometimes...

as for the mount, it's not urgent, but i would like to get it replaced soon. it's just the small arm one on the upper-passenger side of the motor that helps stabalize it, but i know that if one mount goes too long without being replaced when it needs to, then the other mounts can wear out pretty quick. those other mounts are expensive, so i'd rather not...
