Question Strut Tower Bar

Hi,
I was just wondering, what are the pros and cons of getting a strut bar for my 94 Camry? I know it is ment to improve handling.....

but has anyone put one on their Camry? and what exactly have you experienced down to the smallest detail?

There are not many performances shops here in Sydney Aust
so the only place I could find that sells one for my car is selling for AU$150.00 and the brand is GAR (has anyone heard of this brand before?).

But since you're a noob we'll let it slide... everybody gets a chance...

Pros- tighter handling, less understeer braking into turns, looks (more subjective there), all b/c the bar ties together the chassis up front at the strut towers

Cons- possibly weight, depends on the bar most are fairly light, cheap Ebay jobbers are more for looks than performance improvement, anyone else?

Never heard of the company but give Ebay a look before you jump on the GAR one

Are you sure its GAR not GAB? GAB makes pretty good suspension parts, as for GAR i have no idea.

yeah, sorry about that.....i couldnt find anyone using the 'search' option which told about their personal experience when putting a strut bar on their Camry....

I know theorically a strut bar is ment to give better handling, but has anyone honestly experienced themselves a good noticable diffrence? and is it worth the money they paid?

if you simply put a strut tower bar into the camry without any other suspension modification.. you won't feel a difference.. if you do.. then it is all in your head
