Tranny swap

Can anybody give me an estimate on how much it would cost to switch out an automatic for a manual tranny on a 96

unison... first, always post your engine and anything else relevant.

check out ratko's page. thats pretty much the authority for the tranny swap so far. its designed for the 94-96 v6 though, the 4cyl is pretty much the same, but different in some areas. its slightly easier i think... parts easier to find too.

theres no way to do a step by step for an engine swap... theres too many variables

good thought though.

also, i always say if anyone wants to do a v6 swap, ill pretty much walk them through what they need to do.

Costs too much. But in the end, very much worth it.

I don't have a 96 but it should be similar.

I came out of about 2300. If I did the work myself and did not buy a lot of aftermarket stuff I could have done it for about 1000.
