"pedal pressure"

hey guys, just got my clutch replaced today!!!! wow the difference that it had made.... i feel like i got all the torque back and then some... On 2nd, it really pulls hard throughout the rpm toward the redline. Now my question is, how can i adjust the "pedal pressure" of this clutch pedal? the reason i ask is because the clutch pedal is SO easy to depress and i don't like that. I want it a bit firmer so i feel like i'm in control of the clutch. I do have the haynes manual and if any of you guys do, please tell me which page i should refer to. Thanks guys....

did you get a performance clutch, or just an OEM replacement? how much?

and on top of his question, is there a way to wake the clutch "shorter", as in, you dont have to push it is as far

I think I read somewhere here about that, if I remember right it was taking the pedal off and unscrewing the shaft or something. don't quote me on that yet though, did you try searching?

Mine only has a 5SFE so i didn't want to go overboard on the clutch system. I wanted the durability, comfort, and reliability from my much-driven camry so i went with a OEM replacement. Ehem... so does anybody know where i can adjust the pedal pressure? moderators? i wanna see if i can do it myself instead of taking it all the way back to the mechanic...

1. Stiffer pressure plate.
2. Bigger clutch master cylinder.

Other then that you can try bleeding the slave cylinder and / or upgrading the rubber line to a stainless steel braided line.
